There is obviously more than chairs behind Charles Eames wooden love, but this is a design I particularly admire. He designed a leg splint for the American Army during the second world war. The design is light, beautifully shaped, and above all timeless. According to Justus Kolberg there is no better way for shaped wood to demostrate its qualities.
